My Role

Brand Designer & Illustrator (Agency Team) Led illustration direction and contributed to the development of a cohesive visual system across brand, digital, and marketing applications.

The Context

Inspired Kindergartens is an established early childhood education provider with a warm, values led philosophy grounded in nature and play-based learning. As the organisation expanded, there was a need to bring greater consistency to the brand while also improving clarity around their range of services and offerings.

The Opportunity

To refine and elevate the existing identity so it better reflected their nurturing, nature-led approach, while creating a more structured and cohesive visual system to support communication across multiple centres and touchpoints. The aim was to balance warmth and personality with clarity and consistency.

What I did

  • Designed a cohesive visual system to unify the brand across all touchpoints

  • Developed a bespoke illustration style to communicate warmth, playfulness, and connection to nature

  • Introduced a soft watercolour texture treatment to add depth and tactility to the identity

  • Combined real photography with illustration to strengthen storytelling and create more engaging brand moments

  • Refined typography to improve hierarchy, readability, and consistency across applications

  • Applied the system across marketing collateral, website design, and digital campaign assets

  • Ensured flexibility of the system for rollout across print, digital, and environmental applications

Outcome

A more cohesive and recognisable brand identity that better reflects Inspired Kindergartens’ values and approach to early learning. The integration of illustration and authentic photography created a warmer, more engaging visual language, while improved structure and hierarchy brought clarity to their service offering. The updated system provided a flexible foundation for consistent application across advertising, vehicle graphics, digital platforms, and physical environments, supporting a stronger and more confident market presence.
